The first official Moosik Music Upcoming Band Of The Week is Oli Barton & the Movement.

Oli Barton & the Movement are based in London, released their latest EP back in 2018 'How Would I Know' including, a narrative title track, that the pigeon detectives would be proud of, with guitars not too far from the strokes fast paced Punk track with attitude 44, reminiscent of The Ramones or The Clash, with modern undertones. 'Stayed In' a track that seems a little too relevant in these turbulent times regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, as Barton tells the story of a bloke who perhaps should've given this night out a miss over the top of upbeat, jumpy staccato guitar, similar to early Arctic Monkeys. Oli Barton & the Movement, will have you digging through their discography, as you quench your thirst for late 00s indie to return, with Oli Barton the new Alex Turner from the South.
